Classic example of how a younger woman is not necessarily the most beautiful. As a teenager, Ann-Margret was undoubtedly attractive, but as she got older, she became unbelievably beautiful. In this short video, she is okay, but when you see her ten years later, she is almost an entirely new person, much more refined, more sculptured and certainly more stunning.

No, I was class of '61, two years behind you. But I saw her sing "Heat Wave" at the school play, and I thought that the parents would stop the show! She wore a strapless green gown that showed off her marvelous figure. It's been 50 years, and I still remember that performance.

@arthurzdog I saw the photo of that performance in her Autobiography. Yeah its true some of the parents walked out of the show in in disgust because her performance was so Hot she honestly didn't know how sensual she came across at such a young age.

@galinda stars of yesterday used to want to look older than their years, it was the only way they could or would be taken seriousely, then once they became stars they returned to or created their own youthful style

@arthurzdog That's so cool - what a memory. I've been a fan since I was a little girl & saw her in Bye Bye Birdie at the drive-in :-). I saw her perform in Atlantic City about 15 years ago and she was still amazing. The most gorgeous legs I have ever seen & still a beauty.

Hahaha, that's what my mom said when she first saw the clip. Definitely different than a 16 year old would be dressed performing now..
