@TheMiaSim It may have, but the sound of thunder can be so loud that it sets off car alarms on cars it does'nt hit

I remember when I was about 14/15 baby sitting a neighbours daughter & there was a thunder bolt but the house I was in it must of hit as all the electric went out but no one elses did. It scared the living daylights out of me, I had to run down the road to mine with jelly legs to get my parents to help. I never want to experience that again. I'm terrified of thunder storms now even there no where no near as bad in the UK as they are in the US

wouldnt being this close to a lightning strike be deafning? not too long ago outside the field of my house, lightning struck and my house literally shook. (lets not talk about how fucking loud it was -_-)
