Do not worry. The blisters go away in just a few weeks :)

can you message me with the url. I would appreciate it. This design failed so im not sure you want it but i will share the design if you like.

i agree with you Larry,an also try 1/8 gap between your plates with 8 plates an see what it will do

Steve, thank you for posting this vid. I've figured out how to drop the cost of nickle plates.
I posted a how to on DD's watercar forum. It should work perfectly on your zero current leakage cell.
By the way, do you have a how to for this cell design ? I would love to try it.
Peace.
Mike.

That's my theory also.

HI Steve, Are these Dry Cells Idea belongs to Bob Boyce designs?

I have no idea where it originated at. but I started with a design i was from terro

with the better conductivity of your plate material, you might be able to use a much lower per plate gap voltage ... its just one of those things you might want to try ... you might be surprised how efficient the process is when you have your per gap voltage down in the 1.8v-2v range ... productivity might suffer, but efficiency might surprise you ...

I am going to try just that. With d3's idea using a bell curve with my voltage to find the sweet spot.
Im really looking forward to your ssc broadcast with the smackmaster. It should be entertaining.

Steve, You really need to get that voltage per plate gap down. In my opinion that is the gain with Nickel. It is less resistant than stainless. Lower cell resistance = lower voltage wasted=the need for lower voltage per gap and higher effeciencies. Keep up the fight.

yah I dropped the voltage but dang just looking at the tank of KOH makes my skin burn :) Holy crap i have almost two cups in two liters of distilled. To tell you the truth im a little scared of the concentration :) Im used to using 2-4 tsp. :)
