Left Hook mechanics

@DeathrowRecords95 Good observations. I exaggerate the pivot for my shadow routines. I do take risks and my technique is certainly not infallible, I think you should post some videos too. I think my goal is to get people to practice their boxing technique outside the box to bring some perspective to something they might be having trouble with. Often exaggerating a technique makes something click, and is not actually replicated in a real fight where efficiency and safety are key.

@albertpope I appreciate your desire to bring about a "think outside of the box" approach, this is what I have seen in your other videos where you discuss the benefits of shadow boxing over bagwork in order to train yourself to find the right angle in order to land a good solid punch. however I do feel that you pivot your front leg a little too much in order to gain power and people may feel inclined to exercise it completely as shown by you which is simply not feasible when fighting.

If you want to learn how to throw a left hook watch videos of Felix Trinidad. Trinidad v Vargas is a good one.
