Hubbard had discovered the 'phenomenon' of astral projection back when he was writing science fiction before this whole thing came about. He even wrote a novel about the concept of people being able to travel to different dimensions using only their minds, he simply made up a science fiction story about a phenomenon that actually exists. The "OT powers" you hear about are simply the ability to consciously astral project. They just don't call it that because then it wouldn't be a "secret."

Not only are there no OT powers, there are no clears with the abilites Ron claimed in "dianetics" (total recall, perfect eyesight, few illnesses etc).

Look at the number of OTs that wear glasses and require notes to give their speeches.
