Cal Football: Jahvid Best (E.Washington Highlights)

Finishing with 144 yards on the ground, Jahvid Best recorded his sixth straight 100-yard rushing game for a total of 1097 yards and 183 ypg during that span (Oregon 116, Stanford 201, Washington 311, Miami 188, Maryland 137, Eastern Washington 144). He now has 281 yards on 27 carries in 2009, good for 10.4 yards per carry. He is 108 yards from breaking into the all-time top 10 at Cal. This was Best's sixth straight game with at least one rushing touchdown, for a total of 12 TDs on the ground and two receiving over the last six games. He sits at 2082 yards rushing in his Cal career. Best also caught his third career touchdown reception in the 2nd quarter (3rd overall in career), a 22-yard grab.
