this mentions that armor is integrated w/ a mass effect field? this explains why biotics can't affect armor like shields and barriers. i don't know why bioware cut this stuff.
-
The reason Bioware implemented the thermal clip system is because in ME, with the right upgrades on the right guns, you can fire them for long periods of time without having to stop for heat dissipation. For example, the Spectre Gear Level 10 shotgun can fire forever if you install two Frictionless Material Xs. This made the game really, really easy. They fixed it in ME2, and I think they did it right. At least they put in effort to make it canonical.

i really wish these were added.

i have no problem with the new ammo feature in ME2, but some weaons should've had MUCH MORE ammo capactiy, like the Mantis, and Carnifax hand cannon
-
@burnout21 they should have at least increased the ammount of shots each heat sink could fire. They should have also let you shoot without heat sinks but do something to balance it like make the weapon less accurate or cant shoot as long/slow cool down or something.

@burnout21 no shit

@didymos1120 Hmmmmm...I'm sorry, I remember there being a voiced Drell entry. That's what I remember what happened.
-
@kninja41 Yeah, good point, however, it seems more likley that a doninant life form needs to have those features to dominate the other life forms. It makes sense that a humaniod reace would fit these needs, minus hanar and elcor, which are just as adept that surviving in there own environments.

@halfbreed1426 continued from above or below whichever
differences. They should have been more imaginative. An ally that has no eyes, or no mouth, maybe extra arms or legs. Just not eh the same carbon copy body structure for everyone.
-
@halfbreed1426 I meant if a giant non humanoid spider was a teammate, that it would be hard to trust it as a character. All the allies you get are are still humanoid. Two arms, two legs, Two eyes, one mouth, head on top, noses. Aside from color, sizes, and playing around slightly with some organ placement they aren't to different looking from humans.
That's a bad thing. For all the games talk about diversity the most out there thing are The elcor and volus and thats mostly just from size -
This is odd, because I heard and read the Drell entry in-game one time. But whatever, wonderful entries like all the other new ones too in ME2. I can't wait for ME3's Galactic Codex entries.

@finstrike7 No, the Drell only have unvoiced, secondary Codex entries.
