Subwoofer Alignment

Here is a down and dirty method of aligning your subs to your main PA system. When you select a low pass and filter, there are phase issues that you must deal with. Here is a great way to solve this problem and get the solid bottom end back in the room. Try it...Then come back and leave comments or suggestions.

@angeloscogno It really doesn't matter because you are simply getting a reference between the two so that cancellation can occur. I only use the radio shack DB meter as a reference with the "C" weighting and slow response while doing the service. Weighting is in another blog listed on my site. For the record, we usually run 102 db C.

@TheMiddleMan667 No sir, I traveled on the road in the 90's with different bands as a A1/Engineer. Since then I have worked at a church as a system engineer. This is just the everyday method of aligning your subs with the mains. Thanks for the comment
