  • I adore this Crumb piece as well. I don't know it well, and don't have access to the score at the moment, but it sounds like a wonderful performance. I wish the sound quality was a little better- I think much is lost, but I can still hear the power of the performance. It's magnificent to have this work on youtube- thanks for sharing!!!

  • Just beautiful. Who would have thought you could actually enjoy contemporary music? How does it get any better than this?

  • This is one of my absolute favorite Crumb pieces. it's just so damn beautiful! This seems like a pretty right one perfromance, too, despite being in BU's crappy performance hall.
