  • A sharpened dowel rod- hm... I must sadly admit that I don´t have a clue what that is- but I´d love to know!

    Tina

    Your fan in Stockholm

  • @tisdagarmedtina It's just a wooden rod that I sharpened myself...you can find them in most hardware stores or lumber yards...

  • Before I recieved this answer- I went ahead and got those pans after all- but who can have too many? So- I´ll definately look into this Sugru you are so helpful to mention to me-

Grateful greetings from a rainy Stockholm

  • @tisdagarmedtina Glad to help!

  • WOW! A spray enamel- sounds magical- I´m just thinking if I shall invest in the Winsor & Newton Large Pans- 5 primary colors- but they will cost a penny or two... so I was wondering if I can make my own pans- from clay and maybe spray that enamel on top- hm- I´m so grateful to you, dear Cathy!!! Thanks for all the advice!!

  • @tisdagarmedtina I got it in the hardware store...very strong stuff. You could make pans with polymer clay or a new product called Sugru. You can google it...

  • I have rewatched this wonderful video and paused very very many times, to really study and now to retain what was so delightfully shared by you ---winna

  • I've long been a fan of your inspiring work and have several of your books. Finding your videos and artwork on YouTube was purely by accident. It adds another dimension to your instruction. Love the use of the dowel and/or sharpened end of the paintbrush. I will also use the "Altoids" tin idea for my plein air kit. I'm so glad you decided to try video! The Irish part of me loves your choice of background music!
