I bought Corel Draw X4 and Photo Paint came with that.

    Hope that helps,

    Naturelover.

What features can't you find? They finally have animal eye adjustment so we don't have to eye drop color and spray it in . The X5 has gradation, which I was using in Picasa. I used to use Photo Impact by Ulead. They were aquired by Corel in 2006. I think this fits the bill for the casual user. I found Adobe Photo Shop too complicated and time consuming, but you might find what you need over there... it all depends if the older programs will work on your current operating system.

I have actually tried the fre trial version of ProX4 and again I must say that, while I do like it, it doesn't have the same features that even the old Photo Paint had - and which I actually need! Surely Corel didn't just throw away their excellent Photo-Paint program and replace it with the ProX series, did they? That would be hard to believe!

I'm trying to find out if Corel still has a version of their Photo Paint, and if there is a trial version I could download. I have an older version installed on one of my computers (version 6) that I love, but over the years I lost one of the installation disks (furthermore, I need a newer version anyway). I've tried out an earlier version of Corel's Paint Shop Pro - & although I like it and may ultimately buy it as well - I prefer Photo Paint's features more. Could anyone help? Thanks.
