Setting the Reed

I used my concertina tuning bellows to show how the reed works. It depends on how much the gap under the reed tongue is.

If the gap under the tongue is too wide, the reed is slow to speak. If the gap under the tongue is too small, the reed is muted or doesn't speak at all.
