i'm posting b/c well i'm procrastinating working on my paper, i've tried, but i can't focus so i decided to post this instead :)
Devon's P.O.V.
"Ready to go swimming?" I asked
"You know it!" Sam, Kevin, Joe, and Nick replied.
"I think I'm going to tan for a bit first," Sara said as the rest of us jumped into the pool.
"Sara, come in!" Sam said.
"In a bit," Sara replied.
Kevin whispered something in Sam's ear and she started laughing. "Okay" she said coming over to us. Kevin told us what he had said and we were all in agreement. We figured our plan of action and then set our plan in motion. We saw Sara laying on her stomach tanning not looking at the pool, perfect position. Joe walked up to Sara casually.
"You sure you don't want to come in?" Joe asked as Kevin walked up behind her without her knowing. We were all watching from the pool trying not to laugh and so was Joe, surprisingly he was doing a good job and Sara didn't suspect anything.
"I'll be in in a few," Sara said.
"Or sooner," Joe said quietly.
"What?" Sara asked.
"Nothing," Joe said and just at that moment Kevin picked up Sara and started carrying her to the pool.
"Kevin! Put me down!" Sara yelled struggling to free herself.
"Fine," Kevin said, by this time they were at the edge of the pool. Kevin grabbed Sara's hand and jumped in dragging Sara in with him. We all started laughing.
"That was so not funny," Sara told us.
"Yeah, it kinda was," we replied. "And now your in the pool."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Now what?" Sara said, still not too happy about being dragged into the pool.
"Marco Polo!" Joe yelled with a little too much enthusiasm jumping up and down.
"What are you like 4?" Nick asked.
"Maybe..." Joe said. So we played Marco Polo for a while. Of course I was one of the first ones to be "it." As I was walking around the pool, with my eyes closed, not knowing where I was, I slipped mid word. I tripped on the slope from shallow to deep water.
"Walk much?" Sam asked me.
"Very funny," I said. I know I can be a bit of a klutz sometimes and I have my fair share of blonde moments. I am blonde so I have an excuse, kinda. I think I'm more blonde than a klutz, but whatever.
"I'm surprised you haven't gotten your camera out yet," Kevin said to me.
"Yeah, about that. Me and cameras and pools don't mix well. Let's just say I've dropped a camera in the pool before and Im not in the mood for that to happen again," I replied.
"Smooth," Joe told me.
"I know, I'm just that cool," I said.
"Yeah, okay. Keep telling yourself that," Sam and Sara said sarcastically.
We got out of the pool and Sam, Sara, and I went to get changed out of bathing suits. We talked the whole way and hoped that the boys wouldn't be somehow swarmed with paparazzi when we got back. We were walking back to the pool and we saw Kevin just getting off the phone.
"What was that all about?" we asked.
"We just got the best news!" Kevin said laughing at Joe who was jumping around unable to contain his excitement.
"What is it?" we asked extremely curious.
"Well, we just got a call from our manager and he said," Nick started to explain.
"WE'RE GOING ON AN INTERNATIONAL TOUR NEXT SUMMER!!!!" Joe finished yelling in excitement.
"Wow, that's awesome! I wish I could go, I've always wanted to travel the world," I commented while Sara and Sam nodded in agreement.
"Well they did say we could each bring a friend, so we were thinking of taking our newest best friends," Kevin told us. My face lit up when he said that they could bring friends, thinking that they might actually want to bring us. That feeling only lasted a second when he said that they were thinking of taking their new best friends.
"You don't look to excited for just being invited to go on an international tour with one of the most popular bands of the moment," Joe said finally able to stand still for more than a second.
"We didn't think you were talking about us. Of course we'll come! Sara said quickly accepting the offer of a lifetime.
"Hopefully you'll still be our friends then," Joe added jokingly, which resulted in him getting hit on either side by Nick and Kevin. "Ow!" Joe yelled as everyone else laughed.
We walked back to the car to leave, it was late, but we were all really hyper. "What now? I don't want to go back to the bus, it's kinda boring there," Nick said.
"DANCE PARTY!!!" I yelled as we drove back to my house. I got some strange looks from everyone. I get really hyper and talkative the later it gets and I'm pretty sure it was showing. I just hope they dont think I'm too weird. Too late for that I guess, oh well.
