  • "Micky Braddock" later became better known under his real name...Micky Dolenz! John Conwell later became one of "THE TWILIGHT ZONE"s production staff (as did Herbert Hirschman as Rod's producer in '63)...and was that BURT REYNOLDS and DIANE {"Dyan"} CANNON in bit roles??

  • Yes, those are indeed Burt Reynolds and "Diane" Cannon in bit roles, at a party thrown by the Leslie Nielsen character. Bonita Granville acquits herself well in these scenese as Nielsen's neglected wife.

  • I wish the next week's episode, "A Quiet Game of Cards," was available somewhere. It looks like they taped the preview sometime before Jan. 22. Fascinating.

  • to the lady who complained about the quality of the script- formulaic? these outstanding shows were never about the plot but about the great dialogue and interaction between characters. It was done live and adjustments were made.

  • ONE F THE GREATEST TELEVISION PROGRAMS EVER. this is history, and now PLAYHOUSE 90 is coming out on dvd i just learned in November. This show that i grew up on is tv at its best. • I was not born until 1961 but I am a hugh fan of Rod Serling works and mostly watch black and white movies because that is the only way I can enjoy TRUE movie talent.I have been looking high and low for The Velvet Alley. So I must THANK YOU for this brief but wonderful trip into the past.

  • Where was Bonita Granville????

  • Remarkable. What happened to the world? What happened to America?

Thanks for reminding me of my youth and one of the things that was great about it.

  • They probably did, 'byrd'. MAYBE CBS has a copy of that in their archives, I don't know...
