  • @Lilith89ibz @jazzylianne Renee does speak German; she spent a few years there as a student. Apparently her German teacher there told her that if her career as a singer failed, she'd be a good linguist! :D

  • @jazzylianne she speaks fluent german!!... she studied in germany with the legendary elizabeth schwarzkopf

  • lady00010, why would you knowingly have anything to do with that idiot Christian Thielemann? Absolutely to be avoided like the plague. What a crook, charlatan and man of little intelligence. You are right, and glad to see my views confirmed....

  • It sounds cute in every language...

Carlito non mi hai detto nulla di questo video e l'ho trovato solo ora per caso...

Dovevi dirmi che su youtube c'era un video del Rosenkavalier

  • Yes, she's fluent in German!

  • I was unlucky enough to see this production in Baden Baden, and witnessed in despair Christian Thielemann drown out any hope of hearing the singers. Renee Fleming soldiered on valiantly with no sucess. Now and then, if one were truly lucky, one could almost make out a yell from one of the singers. The Baden Baden Hall is far too big, and Mr Thielemann symphonic fervor annihilates anything within range of his orchestra. He should be publicly dismembered for deliberately wasting so much talent.

  • "Blond at heart" ROFL

  • Ahhh yes, so it is! hence the appearance of her name hehe! XXXDDD

    (i'm blonde at heart!)

  • Yes, Renee speaks German. She studied in Frankfurt in the 80s on a fellowship.

  • I'm going to go with yes, because I'm pretty sure that's her speaking at 1:10
