@dickies90046 Chinese ppl are just as discriminating as other races. Look at how mainland chinese speaking cantonese used to be treated by hong kong ppl. Chinese ppl were laughing at William Hung too. ._.;

Furthermore, I also find it very interesting that some of these very same people would respond to me saying that the reason this is is because "this guy is singing on pitch."
In truth, both individuals were singing on equal pitches to eachother (regardless of how on pitch they actually were).

well done, I found it very good. you chinese name is a little strange, abit like when Chinese choose an english name for themselves like 'bloon' or 'future' or something like that. you sang the english song well.

Chinese people are warm-hearted, kind, and open-minded. They're not discriminating anyone in any race, color, or ethenicity. It's something we american should learn from the Chinese. It's disheartening to see how William Hong was treated in American Idol in contrast to this guy who cant speak Chinese clearly with strong american accent and he was getting all the warm welcome in the county. SHAME for us.

Chinese people think it's a novelty when any white foreigner tries to speak Chinese. William Hong was laughed at because he was a horrible singer, as were all the other bad singers (white included) who sang on American Idol.
