Goodness, this video is dishonest.

No expert I've ever heard thinks that Australopithecus Afarensis is a chimpanzee. The pelvis alone is markably closer to humans, and while there is some debate about whether this species was bipedal, there is good evidence for bipedalism, as well as against. The angle of the femur into the hip is an excellent example.

Homo Erectus's average brainsize was markably less than ours. Neanderthal DNA has been analyzed, showing them to be a different species.

talk about not understanding science at all. scientists don't "exercise their imaginations" to come up with scientific theories. they use data, you know hard facts? there is also a very rigorous process of peer review that ensures someone cant just make some bogus claim (like the ones in this video) in the scientific community and expect it to be accepted. this is just a stupid video, no two ways about it.

@Inverita1 Well I'm afraid you must not have a very clear understanding of what peer review is, if you did you would know that none of the stuff in this video was peer reviewed. Additionally while it is possible to mis-classify a fossil, it is very unlikely that all fossils were misclassified or that the entire scientific community is lying. Lastly the fossils aside, we share 98% to 99% of our DNA with chimpanzees, we are genetically more closely related to them then they are to orangutans.

@aabulow2 Hi , I understand your stance on the argument but the narrator is giving peer criticised reviews on the fabrication in drawing as well as recreation of features on skulls. The intention of this, by showing the various outcomes produced (even on a single skull by different scientists), is that the fabrication process is misleading and is based on the fabricators bias. He is also suggesting these fabrications are used to assume a link between man and ape exists. Its not bogus but logical

This video is trying to claim that evaluation scientist are dishonest because they just want to prove evaluation. That's CRAZY! That's like saying global warming Scientist are dishonest cause they want to prove global warming is man made, just CRAZY!
