i have this exact same laptop. I am actually on it right now. I've had it now for almost 4 years and it is still in solid shape....yes it gets a little bit hotter now than it used to when it was new but it has never overheated or "melted" or anything like that....after gaming for over an hour, I observed CPU max core temperature of 80 degrees celsius and max hard drive temp of 60 degrees celsius. If i put it on a cooling pad, these are reduced drastically. Once again, it is almost 4 years old.

dude thats not the dv2 because it doesnt come out until July 2009. Stop lying but you do have a nive hp though

I hope you are one of those "lucky" HP customers and never have a problem with your HP Laptop, but if you had done your research you would have realized there are many who are very unhappy with HP products & customer support. I know I am.

no, my laptop isnt melt.
mine runs at low temperature, maybe in other models, but in mine not.
instead i dont think that can be posible,
