DBS Bank has rolled out a regional brand campaign across its six key markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India and Indonesia. Managing director and head, group strategic marketing & communications, Karen Ngui talks about the campaign which aims to showcase DBS' presence in the region and the role it is positioned to play in supporting its customers.
Has anyone noticed that - on DBS's latest Heartbeat Asia campaign - the very clear global map omits the UK while including other such financially 'important' islands as Madagascar, Tasmania and Sri Lanka? Doubt this is an oversight but likely a response to the UK's Regulatory Authority last year fining DBS for misleading advertising - which clearly continues. Or is a case of Anglophobia? Deal with it!
