How central is "marriage" to God's plan? How hard-wired into the essence of everything? Do you understand all the spirals? Do you know how to fix your own marriage? Are YOU in divine order with Jesus? They won't go where you won't lead them.

  • where do atheists fit into this?

  • @uiruu Well, if you want God to bless your marriage, then first you have to believe in God. As for me, it doesn't matter to me a lick if the people of the world call it common law or civil union or marriage or whatever. Marry your dog or whatever. The world can do whatever the world wants. But the people that say they are the people of God, probably ought to do it God's way and make sure it's HOLY Matrimony. Why would an atheist care if something is "holy"?

  • Why is it that we as Christians so often find what we disagree with and park on that? I wish we would press into Christ and his teachings and love one another.

  • what do you mean we are marriaged in heaven to the lord.

  • you make excellent, poignant videos

  • ChillFella61,

Nevermind. I never wanted hostility or strife.

  • I'm not making a big deal about this marriage thing. If you believed something that was wrong, but were quick to let go of it, then I'd be fine with that. But you are holding onto it.

If I'm right about this - but you couldn't hear me - then maybe I'm right about other stuff I told you too. As I said, I just corrected you gently. You could have silently accepted it and thought about what I said without even responding - that's not what you did. You responded offensively, and yet I'm wrong?

  • No Doug. You say I'm saying something that I'm not even saying, and then you say something I haven't even said is wrong. That doesn't help!

I never said marriage will be like it is now in Heaven, I am only saying the closeness will remain! I'm only saying that death of one spouse isn't divorce. And I've shown you Scripture for this. Yet I'm the stubborn one?

I don't call you a fool, you call yourself a fool by not even reading what I say.

  • what are you trying to prove SyntaxOmega?

  • Give me a break! I've showed you OVER & OVER that you're wrong & you NEVER hear me!! I agree that you must speak accurately & with fear of the Lord - and YOU'RE not accurate!! You're making up stuff and clinging to it stubbornly - like that a marriage between two people continues in heaven, when Jesus Christ Himself says clearly that it DOES NOT. You buck scripture with no fear!

Marriage persists in heaven, but we are ALL married to ALL who are of the Bride and the Bride is married to Jesus.
