Again, the purpose of this project is to help and encourage you to eat more fruit. Fruit isn't just a snack.
Fruit can be a meal.
Your diet can be centered around fruits!
Fruits are loaded with vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and oodles of health-enhancing nutrients to help you look and feel fantastic!
Eat more fruit and you're on your way to the most Vibrant You Ever!

Today's fruit is the WATERMELON!

-Watermelon originated in Africa, and was first cultivated in Egypt. Watermelon was so highly regarded that ancient Egyptian Kings were buried with the fruit!

-Watermelon is 92% water, making it a great food for a hot summer day, and also a wonderfully cleansing fruit.

-Watermelon is high in the antioxidants lycopene and arginine. Lycopene has been shown to protect against certain cancers. Arginine has been shown to lower blood pressure, prevent erectile dysfunction, and improve insulin sensitivity. You know, our bodies are amazing at healing themselves, and when given healthy foods (fruits, of course) our bodies are more able to utilize antioxidants like lycopene and arginine and be disease-free!

-When choosing a watermelon, you want to find one with a deep green, crisp-looking outer rind. Look also for a creamy yellowish spot somewhere on the outside of the melon, which is a good indicator of ripeness. Pick a watermelon that seems heavy for its size too.

  • about the food combining, it is good to eat melon and watermelon alone, as they contain lots of water and are digested so fast, mixing them with other foods can give a stomach ache and some people can get a "chorrillo" so

    they will need to live in the toilet for half a day if they are lucky!

  • Oh, I forgot to thank you very, very much, I wanted to look 4 plums vits. as we found a tree with small yellow ones, and we are sharing them, they are delicious, the skin is bitter so it may contain lots of vit. c, mermalade does not work if the skin is not taken away!!! as it needs so much sugar, which is my enemy!! thanks a lot 4 your great material and your precious time and your love to share it with the world, good luck with your sharing projects!

  • there is a yogi diet to clean liver and kidneys with melon, water melon and lemon water with honey. I think it goes 3 days of melon, 3 days of watermelon and 1 day of lemon water with honey, then reverse and 3 days of watermelon and 3 more days of melon, check it with the kundalini yogis of Yogi Bhajan, I think this is good for kidneys, liver, I want to share this kind of material with my children neighbors, to inspire them, is it o.k if I download to share it with them
