Ridge Racer V Game Sample - Playstation 2

A pretty decent Racing game for the PS2, though it's said to be one of the weaker entries in the Ridge Racer lineup. Considering it's one of the PS2's launch games (and easily one of the more impressive ones), it's not bad. I liked R4 more.

Ridge Racer V was later ported to the arcades in 2001 with the subtitle "Arcade Battle," using Namco's System 246 board. It was also the last Ridge Racer in the arcades.

yep but still ttt arcade version and ridge racer 4 on ps 1 were the best still today.

@srogante those are both the games i had with my PS2! daddy was incredible at both games! man, i want a PS2 and JUST this game, to stroll down the memory lane! good times! :D

Ridge Racer V and Tekken Tag had amazing graphics at the time, made​me want to take the PS2.

The first Ridge Racer game on the PS2... and Namco at their usual putting extra goodies by this time including Pac-Man and the ghosts as playable racers. The only game where Ai Fukami appeared once... until Reiko Nagase returned in the PSP game.
