the sound of that big shell ejecting is music to my ears! I mean, at regular cruising altitude, a .50 bmg couldn't even reach an aircraft. taking off, any shot would have to be EXTREMELY lucky and clip something vital. "you could shoot a truck or train with hazardous chemicals traveling through d.c". well yes you could, but you could also make explosives out of some household cleaning products and fix it to the transport. much easier than carrying a 30 pound 4 foot long rifle around.
