Kailua Park Master Plan

Kailua Park, also known as Old Airport Park or Makaeo, encompasses approximately 117 acres and is located in North Kona, Hawaii, just north of Kailua Town. The Kailua Park Master Plan was developed by the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation, its consultants, and the citizens of Kailua Kona during a collaborative planning process that extended over six months. The Master Plan provides recommendations for various park improvements to be implemented over a 20+ year period.
