I set-up a scene file to begin animating, showing how the object files are linked to the set file, and how the set and character files are linked to the shot file.

  • I'm sure it's a great setup but

please tell me how linking things from other files is going to help? Is it making some changes to the render time or is it just for your convenience?

Thanks and keep up the good job!

  • @koniokradek It's for changes. So if you've animated 47 shots and now need to change the eye color of a character, you only have to do it once and the change will propagate to all 47 shots.
