009 Model of Bala Lake Railway Pt 1

This is a small diorama I am building of the loco shed and yard at Llanuwchllyn at the Bala Lake Railway, its taken two years so far and is progressing slowly. Almost everything is scratch built from plastic card, wood etc. It is planned that once finished it will go on display in the signal box at the railway.

@WHOisHE15 No the layout is intended for static display so they aren't motorized I would like to try and motorize one though.

how did you make it look like some of the rails were set into the tarmac surface?

@animationdude56 I laid the track as usual then I filled the spaces outside the track with model filler which enabled me to add texture, between the track I laid matchsticks as close to the inner rail as possible before filling the gap in the middle with filler, I then sanded it down flush with the track.

@Mozzy39 They are all scratchbuilt, which is why they aren't very good lol, im probably gonna remake the hunslets as they've got a bit bashed about over time.
