I don't think he redlined it. it sounds like he only revved it to 5500 then slammed into second. I do te same with my car all the time. 5000 rpm on this car engine won't damage it in any way. the engine in the Mazda 3 is solid. btw love exhaust I'm getting it after my canon 100-400 L lens

your car looks the dogs! and why do people comment saying you cold started it and then red lined it? lol makes me piss, so ur car stayed in the middle of a car park all night then did it, u must of sodding drove there so obv the engine is warm! fucking idiots... anyway. rant over. sick car! sounds awsome too.
