Chuck Missler commenting on the myth of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel which some want to use to make the Brits and Americans direct descendants of Israel.
@DeanCo7777 Neither Britain or US are the lost tribes. I have no idea where you got that stupid idea. U.S. may be the big Whore babylon in revelations. But you are totally wrong on this. Frankly it's people that think like this that make us Christians look ethnocentric.
So, in your opinion the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:15-23 regarding the 2 sticks has been fulfilled already? I don't think so.
How about the Jacob's blessings of Genesis 49. Those are specifically regarding each tribe in the LAST DAYS, because it says LATTER DAYS!
If those have been fulfilled, why are we still here? In your opinion, the LAST DAYS were a long time ago. I don't think we are living in Christ's Millenium Kingdom at the moment, do you? VERY WEAK ARGUEMENT...
@SeanShannohan Not really. I mentioned that i grew up catholic, but rejected it ad I'm now a sabbath keeper. I'm working on a message I'll be sending shortly to expand on all of this.
@JediWitness2 Oh! I see. So your not nessearly against Christiantiy then? It is good to hear from a fellow Catholic............That is what you said right?
@SeanShannohan No, your view of what I think about Jesus being the Christ is totally off. I am a 7th day sabbath keeping Christian as the bible teaches and the NT church demonstrated by keeping and teaching on God's sabbath and keeping the OT Holy Days which were supposedly done away with. I also go you message. I grew up Catholic and spent many months in the library before the internet became big studying the Catholic encyclopedias and many other works by Catholic writers and church fathers..
@JediWitness2 Hi JediWitness. I am enjoying your great argument. I am familiar with what you’re talking about and have studied it before in school. Right now I think I have something to explain and defend that Catholics do not practice pagan holidays, but I am still gathering information and citations to back up my argument and don't want to give you any false documentation. Since we can't post links on posts I'll message you what I have so far. Catholic Answers is a good place to find info too
@SeanShannohan What most don't know is that 99% of so called Christianity is not in fact Christian at all, it's "holi-days", customs and many of the beliefs have been taken from paganism and mixed into Christianity staring in the late 1st century AD. By 400 AD, and with the Rome officially changing over to "Christianity" this pattern was set. Rome did not covert to Christianity, IT converted the nominal Christians many of whom were already keeping Christmas, news years, Easter TO Paganism, etc.
@JediWitness2 what do you mean by PAGAN "Christianity"? I know you think we are wrong about Jesus being the Christ, but we, at least Catholics, consider ourselves as fulfilled Jews. I do indeed know that Israel did split into two different kingdoms. That is true.
south is Judah and benjamin, So my friend, south was called Israel. Before you speak - study.
