  • Great work with the video. This is the best advertisement for Civil War Reenacting that I've seen yet. It's one thing to read about history or talk about it. It's a totally different experience to go out and participate in living history demonstrations and reenactments like these guys do - It's almost like time travel without the risk.

  • 0:24 the guy on the left looks like Col. Chamberlan

  • I am a former re-encctor. I really like your video. It is well done. A great recuiting tool.

  • @SeigSel

The 15th Wisconsin did some hard fighting in the South. A quick Google search will get

you a lot of information about them. They weren't at Gettysburg or likely to be featured in a popular movie, but they were those Boys in Blue who marched hard, fought hard and gave all they had. Be proud of your great great grandfather and his comrades!

  • Lokking at things like this make me extra proud to call myself an Irish man,Ill soon be signing up to the U.s Army, and I do it with my head held high.

  • None other than enemy commander Robert E. Lee bestowed the nickname “The Fighting 69th” on the 69th New York Regiment. Upon hearing that the 69th NY was moving into position to face his troops across the battlefield at Fredericksburg in December of 1862, Lee remarked, “Ah yes, that Fighting 69th.”

  • I just wanted to ask you all a question..

I did see alot of videos about the american civil war-And just wondered..

What can you union men tell me about the 15th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry ?And what role did they play in any outcome? Any big battles? Is it any Reenacting from this regiment also???I hope they arent forgotten.

My great great grandfather ore what you call it was in that regiment.

I would be very happy for good response about this.

  • @Br4ndini555 I got no clue , that's just what I was taught!

  • @Br4ndini555 not us, we use rammers and Toilet paper bullets so we get realistic recoil and smoke puffs. don't ask me why. I didn't write it.

  • @Eddyisrich403 Yeah hes a Colonel too if I'm not mistaken, he has the beard now as well.
