Gorillaz - Stylo...erm "Bass" cover.

A bit of an experiment here!
My bass is on the fritz and I'm bass-ampless at the moment, but I've been going nuts over this bassline as of recent. So I decided to attempt doing the bass...on my guitar!
It doesn't sound great at all, but I thought I'd put this up anyway!
As soon as I get a bass rig sorted, I'll probably re-cover this, and probably some other Gorillaz songs, love their basslines.

Also please excuse my "Bass" face!

Boss ME50 (for delay, OD and the pitch modulator to drop it an octave...which didn't sound so great!)

I have a bass! When this video was made it had some faulty wiring and no amp so I couldn't do the cover on bass.

...funnily enough I still have no bass amp! :P

Hey, if you check out ultimate-guitar . com (no spaces) and search "Stylo" you should see "Stylo ver3" bass tab. I submitted those tabs.

But if you want me to write out the notes/standard notation for it, I'll get onto it if you ask :)

And my guitar is tuned to standard but I used a modulation pedal to drop it an octave, so it sounds like a bass tuned to E standard. When I play (real) bass I mainly keep that in standard too, but sometimes go to drop D when it's needed.
