@my2centscents Thanks!! Yes, landing is a very focused phase of flight. Many things happening and you're getting closer and closer to the hard ground!! I started from my home field KBDR (Bridgeport, CT) and the flight to KACK usually takes about 1 hour 15 minutes (give or take). Sorry but I don't recall the landing fees off hand. It's been about one year since I have been there. On my next flight there this summer I will make a note of it.

@rdfelty Thanks!! I didn't really get the shot I wanted but I guess it turned out ok after all. I hate to take the time to set up and shoot without trying to put "something" together even if it didn't turn out exactly as I imagined.

Great video of the approach and landing at ACK.

@SkylaneCaptain The audio quality is quite good doing it that way. You get some ambient noise to establish you are in a plane but not too much to be distracting.
Fantastic approach along with the nice touchdown! Great touch with the added ATC transmissions!! Thumbs up .. I've always wanted to test out the 182 .. Maybe one day =) Cheers from Canada

@RyDon85 Thanks!! If you like hearing the ATC chatter check out some of my more recent videos. This one is a bit on the boring side in terms of in-flight commentary. I have gotten in the habit of trying to make them a bit more interesting since then!! :) Skylanes are great planes. Definitely try to hook-up with someone who can take you up in one someday. Take care and thanks for the comment!!

I have about 30 hrs operating 172 and 152 I can't seem to break away from the Cessnas =D If you check out my In Flight videos on my page you can see my flight from Long Island - Farmingdale Republic Airport my 1st time flying with G1000 =) My wife filmed the takeoff and landing .. check it out if you like =)

@RyDon85 Ill definitely check it out. I did my primary training at Republic back in 2000/2001. Don't force yourself to break away from Cessnas....they are great planes!! Once you get certificated maybe you'll get your High Performance endorsement and try out a Skylane!! :)
