Thanks for sharing this behind the scenes look at one of my all time musical heroes. I have loved this man's bass work since the very first time I heard it back in 1976. As a drummer, I can't think of another bass player with whom I would rather groove.

Now that's a Professional. That man could have done whatever sick lick he wanted to, but kept as simple and funky as it gets until the outro. Then he pulled it out of the bag for a little flavor, but even then it wasn't just licks for the sake of having licks, he wove them into a solid bass line. Taste without even trying.
