@bt0612 You don't have the record at all! Sure, this is Jermaine singing the lead here during a rehearsal session, but it was never released as a J5 track! It wasn't until 1972 when it was featured on Michael's second solo album "Ben" - Track 1, side 2. I have the single "Morning glow" (another solo MJ song) from 1973 and on the B side is "My Girl."

you can hear it's jermaine because jermaine has a accent that mike doesn't have

Wow, that's really rare. So fresh and young.
I love it :)

MJ learned well from Mr Gordy. The art of illusion.
-
But I would say that's MJ minus technology. What ever the truth. It's J5 minus recording genius Berry Gordy.
-
I won't debate it. But Berry Gordy was a genius. He said MJ was 8 when in fact he was 11. They tampered with the recordings to enhance their already great talents. It was all about sales and money for Motown. They took greatness and turned it too gold.
