This is my review of the Sebertech sebertool m4 multitool. I believe it is now made by IDL tools because if you go to www.sebertech.com it automatically transfers you to http://www.idltools.com/. I can't speak for idl tools quality but as far as I can tell they are the same tool.

Gear - If size is important to you this could be a useful tool to have around.

Gadget - This is mostly a useful little tool. It's definitely not a toy and is constructed well for it's size.

Getaway - Would be a great item for a EDC bag. Again where weight and size are important. I think it's still useful for most small jobs with the limit being the amount of leverage you can get on those small handles.

  • I have the basic seber tool with just the regular and philips tips. After 15 + years the regular tip chipped (I wasn't using it) and the black caoting is fading but wire cutters still work like a charm 8-)

  • Intéressant mini multioutil. J'en possède un. Il tient la comparaison avec le Squirt P4 de Leatherman ou le Vise de Gerber. Good review :)

  • I had one of these years ago and loved it. I kept it on my key chain... until it disappeared one day - I still have no idea how it fell off. I just bought another one, now that I found out it's still being made and this one won't be going on my key chain!

  • the idl version is cheaply made the sebertool version is well worth the hunt

  • I have one, but I forgot how to close it O_O lol

  • I have used this tool for 5 years. Works great and has everything you need in day-to-day service. Very handy. I carry it in my pocket with little notice. it is REALLY handy for working on toys and also for removing battery covers on toys. Really great for on-the-spot repairs of all kinds of gadgets. Great little knife!
