Expedition Amazonas Teaser Trailer

Expedition Amazonas is a 5 month, 6800km trek, row and paddle along the entire length of the mighty Amazon River.

The journey is a traverse of the South American continent, from the river's source high in the Andes of Peru, to it's mouth where it meets the Atlantic Ocean off Brazil.

Encountering a range of terrain from harsh deserts, the snow-capped mountains of the Andes and ultimately the Amazon itself, the team faced adventure, adrenalin, peril, hardship and life-changing experiences at every twist and turn of the mighty river.

The expedition also highlighted the absolute need for a balance between global, sustainable development and the protection of the earth's natural environment, along with it's most vulnerable populations.

Mark Kalch, Nathan Welch and Philip Swart make up the team. A short 15 minute film of the Expedition recently was voted best at the Gravity Adventure Festival in South Africa.

Now it's time to bring their amazing story to the screen. Currently in production is a 5 part TV series. There has been great interest so far in the series and we want to hear your thoughts.
