  • The devil is awesome!

  • its so odd drivin over that bridge with that thing gone. wonderful vid of it

  • Yea it was a eery sound. Another little interesting fact about this old plant (my dad and i have both spent many hours working in the old and the new plant) but in the oldest part of the plant (brick part)all of the valves for the steam lines have swastikas stamped in them. They were sent from a co. called crane in germany during WWII and believe it or not but majority of valves used today in power plants and refinerys are still crane. That was eery walking thru that old building.

  • I too had heard that there was some type of steel structure within the concrete stack. Now the creeking noise makes sense. Eery sounding though.

  • The stack isn't all concrete...from the hole about 1/4 of the way up, where the exhaust duct work enters the stack (removed for the implosion but you can still see the hole), there is basically a steel tube just smaller than the diameter of the concrete that the exhaust flows through, and that was the creeking you heard. It was the steel moving and twisting inside.

  • or an echo

  • that was eaither the tower or the plant i bet the tower cuz the base fell and when it was comming down it creeked well i dont really now i i now it was really cool

  • Good video. What was that little creeking sound right after the explosion? I heard it on one other video also.
