ESEE Junglas + Destruction and cutting tests

The ESEE Junglas, is the latest addition to the family. The Junglas is clearly the chopper. In times when only Busse and its Bushwacker Mistress (amongst many other MNSFSOMSNGRTHUO) is reigning over the chopping world, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin decided to resuscitate an old design of theirs the RTAK II and add tons of new improvements to it. It is n longer a full flat grind but it's very close to it. The Junglas is a relatively thin (4mm) and high sabre grind made of 1095 carbon steel with Rowen excellent heat treat. As a note the destruction clip included in this vid is credits to Rowen who tested some blades before they went to market. Results speak for themselves. Add to that the excellent ergonomic of the Micarta and you have yourself a great knife again!! We need to spend a bit of time talking about the sheath as well. The reason for the couple of month delay in the Junglas' delivery was that Randall and Perrin were not entirely satisfied with it and had to go back to the drawing board. Boy oh boy did they do well!! It's an amazing piece of kydex with plenty of rivets to lash everything you want to lash on, water draining hole, lock screw to secure the knife in (as if you would carry it upside down!). The MOLLE Back allows you to carry the Junglas on a MOLLE compatible system, but also includes a belt loop and several other clips to make sure the knife would NOT jump out of the sheath. I guess they had in mind the Colombian Special Forces guys that use it in their war against drug lords in the Columbian jungle when they design this. To sum it up, it's an amazing piece of knife; I would recommend that you take it with you if you plan to go in the woods unassisted for several days as it will be allow you to process wood like nothing else out there.

@thedamned93 Surprisingly well actually. It's very strong and will hold on even after several batonning sessions. So it's no Cold Steel rubbish - it will wear out eventually though

I don't see why there's such a lot of hate about the language, it's nice footage and all. My only complaint is that i thought the destruction tests were meant to see how much the knife could take and not how much everything else could take while being chopped at.
