This is a rough proof of concept animation. Maya particle systems and instancers are manipulated to create abstract character and object models; techniques include controlling emission settings, constraining and sculpting particle systems by collisions and dynamic forces, particle visualization via instances of basic geometric primitives, and post processing via compositing and editing. Software: Maya 8.5, After Effects 7, Final Cut Pro 5. Soundtrack by turbowilli++ ;)
