  • I like your video! There is never enough things like this to spread the word on these important issues. :)

  • @DaisukiMai Thanks! All high schoolers taking AP Environmental Science has a video similar to this (with different topics of course). It's a small step, but every video and action can help!

  • limited space to complete my comment- also wanted to say that i'm glad you guys are interested in this topic. keep at it and keep spreading the word - just push yourselves to understand the issue beneath the surface and creative solutions that can make a long-term difference.

  • @nabomk thanks for the criticism, but this was for a class project and it's suppose to be very specific about what we're talking about, tying in subsidies etc. becomes more general and broad-at least for the project. We wanted to talk about subsides, but there was another group already talking about it as well. We have learned a lot about issues beneath this situation, we were hoping we could fit everything in, but it just gets to the point where it's too much, ya know?

  • Paint an accurate and more complete picture around the political and social challenges of food distribution - how do subsidies tie into this, what about physical access to food, etc? Also, Africa is a continent, with many countries and much diversity. You shouldn't make general comments about ALL of the Africa. What countries and specific cities are you actually talking about? Also, having grocery stores give food is a quick fix, not a long-term sustainable option.
