Fox News VP: If Ms.Todd's Story a Hoax McCain Campaign Over

"If the incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain's quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting," stated John Moody, Executive VP of FOX News.

Ms.Todd confessed to lying about her initial accusation that a "very dark skinned black man" attacked her and carved a "B" on her face.

TPM reported that the McCain campaign pushed this story before the facts were in:

"John Verrilli, the news director for KDKA in Pittsburgh, told TPM Election Central that McCain's Pennsylvania campaign communications director gave one of his reporters a detailed version of the attack that included a claim that the alleged attacker said, "You're with the McCain campaign? I'm going to teach you a lesson."

Verrilli also told TPM that the McCain spokesperson had claimed that the "B" stood for Barack."

Moody was partially correct.

If the story was a hoax the campaign is over, but if it is not a hoax the campaign is also over.

Either way McCain is done. His constant 'BOO' campaign is total crap and no one is buying it.
