As much as I love his cover's album it dont have half the effect a pure solo album does.

@clashcityrocker2007 As a musician you should know, that in an own composition there´s your own heart within the song. In a covered song you must give your heart out to THAT song. That´s not always the same. Only sometimes the cover version is much better than the original. Like:"First time ever I saw your face." Roberta Flack gave this song the right emotions, not Peggy Seeger. Or the ELO cover version from Chuck Berry´s :"Roll over Beethoven". Paul gave his heart to this song,too, I think.

@Raindropser3 Im not rippin on this tune. I think it's amazing, I also don't think have ever done a bad cover version. All the covers he does he brings something new to them and you can tell that it's Weller. His own compositions just have more of a connection with me.
