i drink an ice filtered beer , so i dont get carbon or impurities at all
-
There is water already in the filter so the water is pushed through first. If you soaked the filter in beer first and then poured a couple through it to make it beer full. Then the beer wouldn't taste that much different.

Why would you want to turn beer into water? Beer tastes like shit.

AWESOME EXPERIMENT! I LIKE IT!
I don't really know, but I think the gal on the right is correct. Carbonation is probably lost in that filter. Also... Coors, as practically all major brewers do, filter their beer with some really nice filtration systems before they send it your way. (Found this video looking for a means to filter my own homebrews)
YOU GUYS ROCK!

@sluggo06 I'm pretty sure thats charcoal. its used it most water filters i think.

@relam13 cool i was just curious i wasnt drinking something toxic.lol thank you!

@sluggo06 I think you're talking about the black specks in the top reservoir. That's normal as it's just carbon from the filter flowing up into the reservoir. Don't worry, the filter will stop that from getting into the filtered water.

Why does my filter have little black specks in the filter part?

probably turned it into a shiner
That looks more like PUR filter.
