    The steps for tying a Figure Eight Cleat Hitch are the same whether vertically or horizontally. Start with the far horn and end on the near horn.

  • Seen a few deviants doing similar knots - they call cleat hitch

    (a) starts the same - from far cleat side to other side - but not back - instead immediately in to

    (b) the figure eight - but again immediately in to

    (c) the twist

  • I do have a question, you see the horn, usually for docking, when we bring the ship back.I was wondering if you have a video showing a horn like that on a wall instead of it on the floor. The steps to tieing it.
