Part 43 - Chapter 2, Stanza 18. http://www.crystalclarity.com/product.php?code=BEBPB The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita Explained by Paramhansa Yogananda as remembered by his disciple, Swami Kriyananda. This book shares the profound insights of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi, as remembered by one of his few remaining direct disciples, Swami Kriyananda.

This revelation of India's best-loved scripture approaches it from an entirely fresh perspective, showing its deep allegorical meaning and also its down-to-earth practicality. The themes presented are universal: how to achieve victory in life in union with the divine; how to prepare for life's "final exam," death, and what happens afterward; how to triumph over all pain and suffering.

Swami Kriyananda worked with Paramhansa Yogananda in 1950 while the Master completed his commentary of the Bhagavad Gita. At that time Yogananda commissioned him to disseminate his teachings world-wide. Kriyananda has in his lifetime lectured, taught, and written over one hundred books based on Yogananda's teachings.

The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita is available from Crystal Clarity Publishers.

  • Swamiji Kriyananda you are already my master. If I knew how to get to you i would fly there immediately with a bundle of sticks. I want to serve your community for the rest of my life time here.

  • It happens several times, I meet someone and know them already. Thanks for the confirmation that I'm not being crazy.

  • I find it interesting that the decline of moral objectivity has been accompanied by a progressive vulgarization of culture in the West. Since the mid 20th century, we seem to have gone from general moral dogmatics to moral relativity, a pendulum swing from one extreme to another. I think a Middle Way would be best. Ideology should be organic, pliable and open to revision to avoid ossification, and adaptible to changing times. Wisdom is often best found in a balance between extremes.

  • Yes swamiji they are intelligent idiots nothing but i library of information with no emotional intelligence.People don't even understand the bible properly but they would not dare say negative things about the bible or face losing their jobs.
