Made in Blender to test out its animation. The motion blur is made with a vector blur in blenders compositor.

  • how did you do the fan effect? I've been trying to figure out how to do but I just can't get it right. I make a a rot key in frame 1, rotate it like 10000 degrees, then rot key again at like frame 500.

I want to get my fan to be able to face any angle, but i can only spin it along x, y, or z axis.

  • You need the right heirarchy. The blades should be parented to the head, and the head to the base.

Then use the curve editor (IPO in Blender) to edit the rotation of the head and fan over time. Or you could do it with keyframes as you tried, just be sure to ease it in and out to get a realistic result.
