Abbotsford Park Loft Layout. First Run

This is the first instalment of hopefuly quite a few! I have been sorting the loft out (and collecting stock) with the intention of building a layout for well over a year now and to be honest I was getting sick.Then I bought 37035 with sound and twin speakers in the tanks and it sounded that good it made me build this test oval. Soooo lets hope this continues and it grows into a proper layout.

Sounds great, dont be over ambitious or you will get fed up building it. Better to build something small then add to it.

Cheers for comment and advice. I think your right, Although the track will run right round the loft eventually, only one side will be scenic.

that is exactly how I started 2 years ago including flooring the loft and boarding and insulating the cieling, look forward to seeing more, see you gone in at the deep end straight to dcc sound

Yeah I like the thought of DCC and its benefits. Just gonna try to keep it simple for a while. Gotta say you've done an excellent job on your layout.

you will get the same as me , and get carried away, but its an enjoyable hobby and very satisfying when it works out.can be costly though, nearly as bad as keeping koi carp, which is my other hobby
