Using Jason's new GoPro, we documented our fun day of fossil hunting at the Peace River in Brownville, Florida near Arcadia. We found plenty of shark teeth, from various species, Megaladon, and Mastodon and horse teeth. Plus, we have an item that we haven't been able to identify, if anyone can help, please comment! :)

  • hey i love it i am going there with my family i cant wait

  • Hi, Great video. I first started fossiling the Peace back in 1987 and its still producing great finds. I would have to say the area you were in was a hard picked over area. You should be pulling hole teeth in every shovel full. Next time there try the edges near the opposite shore from where you enter or further up or down stream. As far as that unusual peace, it kinda looks like a tooth from a gaint fish like a grouper, but I would have to get more pictures. Keep digging and have fun.

  • it looks like you have found some fosslized droppings, seriously.the one you said you didnt know what it was.
