Wubi is the prefferred method of installing Ubuntu on a Windows It's sooooo easy my 5 year old niece could do it

Before installing Ubuntu, I'd recommend partitioning your hard drive, so one partition in running Windows and the other Ubuntu.

Just run Wubi following the directions and prompts.
