@Zyozyoma No, I'd either say "don't worry, the $3000 I would've given to greedy corporate scum has been donated to help the less fortunate in your company's name." or I'd say "actually, I'd prefer to go to my grave knowing I owed some sleazy bank $33,000. Three thousand is chump change."

>Terminator: Do you really want to go to the grave knowing you owe some bank $3000?
“I’m a nihilist. I reject inherent morality, so it doesn’t matter to me. Besides, I won’t know anything about this debt in my next life. Have a nice day.” CLICK!

@timhilly I totally would. And I know several doctors who would gladly forge a terminal diagnosis for me if need be. I've used it to get out of one debt already as a matter of fact. Collectors aren't the brightest bulbs in the shed, that's for sure.

Wow, do they have a program like this for people who are being harassed by debt collectors?
You know, something that documents their calls, when they were asked not to call you at work, and who they spoke to, etc... Oh yeah, I forgot; Bottom Feeders don't answer questions that entitle your rights to dispute third party organizations. hahaha, silly idea... but still...

A creditor may take action if they receive a default judgment.

Excuse: I was just given 3 months to live.
Terminator: Do you really want to go to the grave knowing you owe some bank $3000?
Can we have a copy of the doctor's diagnosis?
Did you get a second opinion?
What would you say to that? LOL.

@reymatt76 Always a tough one. I expect I wouldn't be too concerned about paying debts if my time was limited....however, many debts 'survive' even though the debtor does not. Might be best to try and resolve/settle, rather than the estate. 'Copy of the diagnosis?' Cold, yet there are people who will lie and fake terminal illness.
