Wood Borer Damage with Wood Pecker feeding

Wood borers commonly infest pine trees but there are many species of these beetles so most any tree can get infested. It's smart to treat any tree with activity you wish to keep around. Once the beetles start feeding, their damage and presence will cause the tree to die quickly both directly and non-directly.
